Hey guys, I’m looking to purchase my first diesel. I’ve owned an f150, and I daily a Tacoma, but recently I started a new endeavor which requires me to pull a dump trailer, and plow for the winter. I’m brand new to one ton diesels. I am NOT Brand loyal, nor do I need a bunch of fancy bells and whistles, but I would like something reliable, or something that can be “bullet proofed” relatively easily, and last me a long time. Going used, and want to stay around $30k

I like in the rust belt, so I’ll be picky with condition, and willing to travel for the right truck. What would you guys recommend? And also what tips or things to look out for?
