I have an opportunity to start working on and flipping trucks on my own. Iām super nervous cause I have a good job at an international dealer(ok pay, good insurance, constant work)but I really want to go on my own. Iām a damn good mechanic but I want to hear about success/fail stories about working for yourself. Is it worth it? Any pointers on What can avoid failure? I really am at a point where I could stay at international for stability, but want to be on my own. Please help? My dream is to work by myself and teach my son how to work on trucks. I really hate my boss and family has come into a lot of unexpected money that they are willing to support me with(over 5 million). Should I just do it? Any pointers? Please be nice as this is something I really want and am looking for honest personal insight.
