Out of a long-term relationship no point in being unlocked. Any tips for bettering yourself?

Welp after being out of my long term relationship for about 2 weeks I have decided there is no point in staying unlocked. So I am now going to permanently lock myself up until I work on bettering myself for what ever is to come next. I want to work on my self image along with a few other things. I would love to hear from others if this has been a decision you have made before and it's out come? I don't plan on unlocking except for maintenance until I feel I am at a better place in life and a relationship.
