Controlling When Someone Messes their Diaper

Post Body

As a caregiver, there’s nothing I love more than getting a message from the person I am caring for and having them say “I need go potty”. I reply, “oh do you? Need make pee pee?”. The reply comes quick, “ummmm no, not pee pee…..” and so begins the control game. “Can I please go potty??”” No, not yet” “But it’s almost coming out” “Well you keep it in” “I keep tooting. Please please can I go?”

I don’t know why this make me so happy but it does. And then the message, “It happened. I messed my diaper” I just makes me smile each and every time no matter where I am

Anyone else feel this way or like when a caregiver controls them like this?
