Hi, I'm 22 and male (Caucasian). My BMI is rn at 25.2 (186 ibs), which is technically overweight but I don't think that I really am though.
I tested for diabetes and other conditions and I came out normal back in April. My glucose was at 5% (<5.7%).
A few weeks ago I took my daily 50 MG zoloft without water which dissolved in my throat and inflamed my esophagus. It feels better now.
Since last Wednesday, I have been feeling these symptoms: • Dark stools or at least chunks of black stools for a couple of days. Stools are normal with sometimes pale or greenish colors. • I feel fatigued and lightheaded after eating food. I ate a slice of gluten free bread with avocado and felt a weird high that made me feel out of it for up to an hour. • I have bad stomach/abdominal pain that really hurts after eating certain foods. I ate chilaquiles with a smoothie and fruit and I bad stomach pain, as well as being queasy and fatigued, which didn't resolve itself until taking tums. • I am frequently urinating after drinking water and eating. I also feel very thirsty at times but I also believe that it might also be due to now living in a house without AC in the summer. • I took tums and drank water last night which made me feel temporarily sick. Then I felt better. • I do feel tingling here and there on my feet and my hands.
I'm just afraid of diabetes for a while although I have no family history of it. I just got my blood sugar tested today. Is it normal for my blood sugar to rise that fast within three months?
My mom does have stomach problems and her family does have problems of high blood pressure. My dad had recently been diagnosed with colon cancer but had a successful surgery. I'm also concerned if it is a peptic ulcer or some ulcer caused by the zoloft incident.
I'm waiting for a GI appointment sometime til the end of September unfortunately.
I just feel sorta angry that I don't know what this is and how it's affecting my life since I felt normal before last Wednesday.
