In late December I developed nail changes - white nails with red bands at the tips, shortness of breath, and occasional chest pain. I had multiple abnormal EKGs at the ER, and have never had an abnormal EKG in my life up until now. The doctors claim it was “machine error.” I started a low grade fever two weeks ago and it has been persistently 99.9-101.6, I have nausea, random skin marks and lesions, my energy levels got better for a few days but today it all crashed again and the skin lesions are worsening, I’m so exhausted my stimulant for ADHD barely touched me, eyes burn, nauseous and no appetite, have had cold, clammy hands for weeks. And a mild headache, and my low back hurts so bad today it’s hard to stand.
I had a negative ANA in September and again last week. My CRP has been elevated for a while (last result was 12), ESR was 47 in September. Thyroid results are normal, TSO antibodies slightly elevated, but that’s it.
