Female, 43. Left ear. Diagnosed with fungal infection 2 weeks ago. Given Otomiser spray. Went deaf 3 days ago.

Was today prescribed Prednisolone 60mg for 5 days, slowly reducing by 10mg per day for 5 days. Amoxicillin 500mg x 3 per day for 5 days. Have referral to hospital ENT dept next week. What is this in my ear? Should I be worried? General doctor could not diagnose.
