Well met!
In this guide we will cover a dungeon build for the Crusader class in Diablo Immortal.
Before we start I'd like to shout out the <MVP> family. I couldn't imagine a better group of people to play with.
Dungeon Group Build
This build will turn any group you join into an absolute pumping machine.

Basic attack :
In dungeons we will be using Sacred Fire modified by The Bristle. Between the built-in AoE and the essence modification, this will help burn down trash packs quickly while still providing good single target damage.
Skill 1:
Draw and Quarter is one of the best skills in Diablo Immortal. In a group setting we will use it with no modification.
- The timing of this skill is very important, the cooldown is quite long.
*** - Use this to run ahead and pull mobs into nice packs for your group to AoE down. Each dungeon is different and it would do well to memorize the spawn patterns of the mobs in order to use this skill as effectively as possible.
*** - Make sure to use your basic attack! Draw and Quarter provides a 150% attack speed buff to you and makes your basic attacks an AoE. Draw and Quarter will also proc Vithu's Urges and bring that attack speed up to 180%.
*** - If a squishy person in your group gets into trouble, Draw and Quarter can be used to pull mobs off of them. Although you don't always need to move them as the chain effect works as a stun while mobs are attached.
*** - Draw and Quarter removes movement impairing debuffs as well. This can be useful if you get stuck for any reason.
Skill 2 :
Conjuration of Light, modified by Justice Without Favor and Leggings of the Cosigner, is not only a visual treat but an incredible group damage buff.
- Timing this skill is very important, it provides an AoE damage buff on every party member within range when cast. In turn this means that our positioning is also important. Ideally all 4 members of the party will receive the buff, although this is not always possible.
*** - This is the first skill in our kit that provides the Vithu's Urges buff to the group.
*** - Conjuration of Light is extended by the 2 piece set bonus of Vithu's Urges, which is why we run The Folly of Zakarum instead of Wind-Blessed Pauldrons in the build.
*** - Leggings of the Cosigner help with survivability as well as the shield providing the Vithu's Urges buff to us.
Use for trash packs as well as bosses.
Skill 3 :
Holy Banner, modified by Arrowkeeper and The Folly of Zakarum, is the best group buff in the game. Providing 100% chance to do 135% critical damage. It is important to note that this number is increased up to 165% for any crit chance over 100%. So if our baseline crit chance is 10% we will do 145% damage instead of 135%. Critical hit damage is also increased by armor penetration and magical properties from gear, boosting this damage even further. *
Tests conclude this damage is capped at 165% no matter the source of bonus damage
- Timing on this skill is critical. The damage amp from Holy Banner will help you and your group turn tough packs of mobs and bosses into loot in short order. Make sure you understand when and why you are using this skill.
*** - Arrowkeeper makes us the Holy Banner. This gives us the freedom to reposition at will. The AoE of this skill is quite large and keeping your party inside the zone is not a chore, but something to be aware of.
*** - This is the second skill in our kit that provides the Vithu's Urges buff to the group.
*** - If your party damage is low, consider staggering Holy Banner and Conjuration of Light buffs on trash and bosses to help with pacing.
*** - It is important to note that the 2 piece bonus of Vithu's Urges does not extend the duration of Holy Banner, which is why we are using The Folly of Zakarum.
Skill 4 :
Spinning Shield, modified by Sinkhole Cross, is excellent for single target damage, which is what we lack in this kit.
- The AoE for the shield is small, aiming it can take a little practice.
*** - There are 3 charges possible for Spinning Shield: stagger them on trash packs and stack them on bosses.
*** - It is important to note this skill slows movement speed, allowing for some nuance to the usage.
Notes about Vithu's Urges :
- The buff does not stack. The total attack speed buff is 30%.
*** - If reapplied before the duration ends the buff will extend for another 3 seconds, but only ever for a total of 3 seconds. Staggering buffs allow for a longer total duration.
*** - The attack speed buff effects Necromancer summoned creatures, Wizard channeled spells, Barbarian whirlwind, and anything else directly affected by attack speed*.
*Further testing is required.
This guide is by no means finished and the final version will include quite a bit more detail, math, visual examples, as well as other builds for every situation you may encounter in your journey. All feedback and input is welcome!
