Bestiary Feature not working for me

So I have the Bestiary book unlocked. Akara did the whole thing for me. I’m level 51 and finished Westmarch well into Shassar Sea or whatever it’s called. Not one monster has dropped anything that creates even a bit of progress toward the Bestiary Book. Is this normal?
