So I got the aspect that’s along the lines of:
Standing still causes you to generate one shadow of Dark Shroud every 3 seconds (Each shadows provides 2% damage reduction)
Will this effect work based off of the points I’ve put in to Dark Shroud, or does it just give like the base line 1 point in the skill effect? So if I’ve maxed out Shroud and also put a point into Enhanced and Countering or Subverting, will the generated shadows have those effects or no? I would assume so but the last bit about the damage reduction made me wonder if that was like a hard cap on what those shadows are able to do?
Then as a follow up, if it does take on those effects, would I need to have it on my skill bar or can I just put some points in it to get the effect? Along the lines of the Sorc’s enchantments, where you drop a skill into an enchantment slot but don’t actually have it on the bar? Can I leave Shroud off my bar and still gain the benefits of the skill points put in to it?
I just wasn’t sure since I technically could run the aspect with no points in the skill, but before imprinting figured I’d double check, cause it wouldn’t put a 1 in to the skill or anything like a gear stat, just generate the shadows with 2% defense per orb.
