I see a lot of folks looking towards building an Woh/EB CDR set and squeezing in Archon (or even worse, Vyr's) into the build. Sotanaht and several other Wizards over on the b.net Chainpocalypse thread have tested it and their findings replicate mine: Archon is a damage loss for EB builds outside of edge cases where Archon can get a massive stack count.

I personally tried it myself with a combination of Vyr's, Tal Rasha's, Vyr's Tal Rasha's and nothing could compete with a straight EB/MM build with Woh and Mirrorball.

Tested a Woh-EB/Mirroball-MM build and stuck in Vyr's pants/chest/boots (to minimize loss of Fire) and replaced various skills with Archon. Rift clear times went up, trash clearing was not efficient (have to stand and cast to kill rather than walking by mobs), and rift guardian damage was much lower.

Just an FYI and of course there might be a build/gear combo that can make this work I don't think anyone's found the magical combo with Woh Archon just yet.

Though, a CDR IAS stacking non-EB MM/Mirrorball build with Archon might be worthwhile.
