Bad at Necro

I bought the Necro expansion a few weeks ago, and I can't seem to figure out what I'm doing. I took Lord Fluffy's Rathma build but can't seem to make it work at all.

Any recommendations for a starter build, especially non-LoN so I can start farming with it? I have a decently-equipped wizard to farm for blood shards/non-Necro items, and most of each of the Necro sets so far.
