The Enforcer is a no-brainer, but I can't decide on the rest:
Mirinae: looks good, but I don't see it recommended as much as I would have expected
Pain Enhancer: I crit almost all the time, so it could work well, but I'm not sure if Mirinae wouldn't be a better choice overall
Bane of the Powerful: seems to be the most popular choice for everyone
Bane of the Trapped: considering after rank 25, since I don't use CC
Toxin: DoT spread over 10 seconds doesn't look that impressive
Wreath of Lightning: I read some conflicting reports on this one regarding its effectiveness and stacking with other gems
Any input is appreciated, but I guess I'm most curious about damage-oriented gems... is there anything that goes really well with pets?
