Hi guys, as the title says, I don't understand why people hate on Diablo 3 so much! D3 in its current iteration is sooooo soooo much better than the release version!

Diablo 1 was an amazing game. It had a completely different tone and was much more of a horror game.

Diablo 2 was much more colourful than Diablo 1 and although it had a dark setting as well, it wasn't as dark as Diablo 1 (atleast from what I remember).

Diablo 3 really disappointed me in the beginning when it came out and I was like wtf what's with this cartoony shit, but, when I started playing, I felt the design was matching the tone.

There are so many good things about Diablo 3:

1- ability to change skills at a drop of a hat preventing you from being locked into a bad build by mistake. 2- a great endgame which increases the replayability of the game. 3- great monster design. 4- diverse classes which don't feel samey. 5- each class can be OP.

I could go on but I will end with one last point. As a father of two young kids, I don't have the time to put into my favourite hobbies that I used to before. Being able to jump in, do a few gr's and achieve something at the end and then leaving really is such a boon!

I was a bit sad to see Diablo 4 gameplay shift back into the slower action of d2 as I got so used to the fast pace of Diablo 3.
