Now I know in the games Tristram isn't very big, but that could be chalked up to budgetary and technological restrictions in depicting the town (i.e. how the town looks vs what it's meant to look like).
I've read around the Wikis and noticed it was the capital of Khandura and home to King Leoric, though it was still referred to as a small town.
Does anyone know, perhaps who has read the books, how big Tristram was actually meant to be?
Is it actually a small town around a monastery/cathedral? A large town? A small/great city?
Any help is greatly appreciated .
(note: this isn't in reference to the New Tristram of Diablo III. I'm referring to the original Tristram from Diablo I & II).
Thanks!
