When can I start joining the 30-40GR community groups? Trying to farm a Kridershot and can solo GR42-44 on my DH. What's the group etiquette for keys and stuff?

So I'm currently playing a UE Fire Multishot build on my DH while I wait for my Kridershot to drop. Until now, I've gone back and forth between speed running T6 and solo running mid-30 GRs. When I push for progress, I can solo up to around 43-44 within the time limit, and 45 over the time limit.

I heard that you can get some fast farming by speed running mid-high 30s with a full group. Am I at a point where I can start doing that, or do I need to be more geared? If I am ready, do I need to know anything as far as keys and all that go? Just curious if I should run a bunch of trials now to get keys in advance.
