Hot take - D4 campaign is the most lacklustre in the series.

Post Body

I just finished the campaign the other day because I wanted to get to the end to play all the seasonal content. I've played d3 since it came out all those years ago but I pretty much still remember the campaign as it was quite memorable. The story in D4 wasn't that interesting or kept me engaged. Lilith as a character has a lot of potential but isn't at the level of a prime evil! Most of the characters aren't all that interesting. Inarius was a missed opportunity for us! We should have been able to fight him as well to atleast have an additional big baddie!

I dunno, I'm just a bit dissapointed on the whole with the campaign. Just wanted to say that and see what people say. Also, I know Diablo has been imprisoned/destroyed in the last one but by now we should have baal back! It's been forever since we've seen him.

Now the next expansion is Mephisto who was the easiest prime evil in D3 which is also a bit meh in my opinion. What do you guys think?

[EDIT: just goes to show how much I actually remembered 😅 I was thinking Belial all this time and mixing him up with Mephisto! Also, maybe I could've worded it better, but I wasnt just saying D3 vs all other campaigns, I was saying diablo series as a whole].
