Hey, I am a student in dhaka currently preparing for my A levels and always wished to study in Australia Tbh I have no idea about Australia except that living standards are high. I recently went to the r/ askanaustralian subreddit and asked things like which university would be good,and how was it for international students. I was met with comments like,"Don't come", "We are full", "There's bloody enough of you here already". Idk it just ruined my mood for the whole day maybe the week. Anyone of you studying abroad have any clue where i should go to study where people won't be racist towards me? And the quality of education is high. I want to pursue engineering. At the same time I don't wanna go to study only but settle there in the future
Every country is becoming anti immigrant and anti international student now due to record high immigration. Which also brings up the racism. Sadly, if you are willing to go ahead far in life, you need to be able to manage this. Just know that whatever the racists might say, you might one day be far ahead of them in life so who cares?
