Bit and blade storage
Post Body

I am a very big fan of the DeWalt driving bits, their blades overall aren't that bad either.

My biggest gripe and this is across almost all of the tool manufacturers are that most of them do not sell empty cases so that you can create your own storage system and have a place to put everything.

I know this is going to be sacrilegious a little bit but I just discovered the other day that Milwaukee does sell empty cases directly through home Depot they have them for the driving bits they have cases for oscillating tool blades as well as whole saws. They have different size big box cases from small medium and large you can get more inserts for them both and then they have the hole saw cases that come in a small and a large size as well.

I just recently ordered them and I should have them sometime in the next week but I'm looking forward to getting all my bits and blades organized into a couple of cases and being able to have them all in one medium sized bag so that everything is together in one place.

The what does have a case for jigsaw blades but that thing doesn't stay closed I had to throw it out. I have gotten so desperate for something to hold the jigsaw blades that I went and bought a set of jigsaw blades from harbor freight that included a case for them it was a thousand times better than what the wall offered. Of course it wasn't being enough to fit all the blades from harbor freight in the blades already had but at least I had a start.

The other Plus is that there are people in Etsy and some other places making the inserd for the Milwaukee cases the hold jigsaw blades.

My biggest problem with the DeWalt cases are that they are made of a herd of plastic and the ends where they close break off very easily. I know a lot of you guys have the DeWalt pack out but in my case my Paco is from rigid so I don't need to worry about or care about them snapping on to the cases I just want everything to be cases that are not going to break and pop open and make a mess everywhere.
