It's my responsability to make a post about what is going on to advice the whole server about it.

As most of you know some of Veritas members were part of the Pirates in Devoted 2.0, a group known for pearling most of the server population with the intention of "killing the server". This was the main reason why we took a lot of hate since the beginning of dev 3.0.

I didn't play devoted 2.0 since I'm quiet new to civ servers. I joined civcraft 3.0 during their last 2 months, and I was extremely lucky to be part of Aegis during that map.

When we started playing Devoted, we formed different groups. Some people from Aegis and Crocs (hcfers from civ 3.0) wanted to raid considering our main server was still civcraft, and some others wanted to play legit. After some days a few guys in the raider group got banned for a month. During that time we, the non raiders, developed really well. We grinded a lot, we were enjoying the server a lot, when, civcraft suddenly closed.

This made Devoted our main server. But for some people it was never like that. Some of them always wanted to "kill the server". We knew we would eventually go to a war against Uguu, so that was the main focus. But after we won, some of the guys wanted to still "end the server".

That was never my own personal intention. I think they were probably hoping I would give up and agree with that. But I really don't want to.

So I knew it was gonna be a day when we would split and they will eventually try to do it.

This day was yesterday. Eventho some of the guys were already raiding like Celoxia and SteveBuscemi, other guys were still waiting I guess. But yesterday Neoreactionary was mad because someone broke into one personal chest, he blamed Garking and killed him. Then he geared Capri and killed Posey and xFier in our claim. After a while they left.

I like Devoted, I enjoy playing it. It's one of my first experiences in civ servers and eventho I understand that they have been playing for years, I don't think it's cool to ruin others people game play to that extent. We don't have other server to play now, there is no other option, so I don't want to give up on this.

I have been working really hard since the beginning to make a good place for them to play. Even when they were lazy or they were pearled, I most likely worked for them, I got a shit ton of enemies for that, and I personally took a lot of times, all the responsibility for their actions.

I do not regret it, I enjoyed it, but I guess here is where our roads are gonna be different.

Just to make things clear: We did not lose most of our wealth, and they don't have access to our vault as some people was saying.

I'm not sure what is going to happen, I really don't know if we can even do something to stop them. Because they already did it in the last map. I'm on vacation for the next 11 days and it kinda sucks this happens now. I'm sorry for all the trouble you guys are going to go through.

Not sure who else is going to join them, but please make sure you dropchest all your valuables, don't, please DONT store them in your houses and don't afk in towns behind a wooden door lol. At least make it harder for someone to find you.
