When I mine stone or coal, and leave it lying there while I run off to empty my inventory, it is unable to be picked up when I come back. It's still floating there, but won't group with other similar items or enter my inventory. Similar to what happens with low tick, but the tps at the time was 20. Can someone test to confirm? I'll see if I can figure out how many chunks away I am walking.
