I cried when that lady stabbed the cat

I mean, at that point in the show, a lot of awful, shocking things happened already but I'm a dad to two cats and that one scene broke me.
Just. Wow. And I think it broke me not only because I love my cats very much, but also because I can see the events happening on screen in real life (minus the demons of course).
Anyway, this show's been added to my favorite anime lists and I am now deeper into my depression.
