Hey guys, as stated before I'm kinda new to learning by myself how Adobe Illustrator (Ai) works and vectorise simple stuff from scratch, copying easy characters that are pretty much filled strokes with very few details (the likes of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Snoopy, Danny Phantom), and use the Image Tracing on drawings that I make, simple enough for Ai to 'make a digital copy'.
I'm learning not because I have to use the program IRL, but mostly for fun, it's something that I always liked and wanted to learn, also, there are many things that I'd like to make stickers of (for myself) or IDK, just try to continue the learning curve.
Last year I discovered DeviantArt, and the renders many of you guys make from anime characters or games, such as this one, that minhchauk1k did from a much more complex image. I really like their work, it's very well done and everything is like in the original image.
I would like to learn how to make those, obviously with excellent quality like the example and without a background. Why? Well, because I've been having fun doing or trying to recreate the drawings I told you before, and I'd love to have the opportunity to do the same for some of my favourite characters and be able to resize without losing quality,
But, I have no idea where to start and if Ai is the right program to do so, because the only process I know is vectorise every tiny bit, and I'm aware that an image like that, would take me a lot of time, I'm sure there are other ways to do it, and I'd appreciate your help.
Thank y'all!
