I'm a horrible person. I just murdered a subway attendant at his desk.

I play as a ghost who kills the badguys, either with a take down or a silenced shot to the head. It's fun, quiet and efficient. Last night, after investigating a something-something, I punched through a wall, dropped into a hidden basement, then found myself sneaking into a red-zoned server room...which I assumed to be a bad guy lair, as guys in uniform were walking around, doing whatever guys in uniform do. Some kind of evil faction, right?

I ghosted up to a guy working at his desk, set to on knocking him out / killing him with a take down, then searching for clues...only the take down options didn't engage. Assuming a glitch or their wasn't an animation for removing a seated opponenet, I raised my silenced pistol, head-shoted him, watched him fall...and "Civilian" light up on my screen when I checked the body.

Oops. And WTF?

Walking out and up a corridor, I came up in one of the subway stations -- with people in uniforms. Subway staff uniforms. Who let me walk right out, hop a train, and zip home.

I think they're going to be short-shifted the rest of the day.
