Hey guys. I posted this a couple years ago, but if it's aight with the mods just wanted to share this lil secret with the Pistons fam.
Usually, LP is $200 for access to all games. This does not include games that are blacked out, which in Michigan are all games broadcasted on FSD. By purchasing International LP, you can bypass these blackouts and buy it at a much cheaper price. Here's what you need to do:
Download a VPN Tunnel Bear is free and easy to use. You only get a certain amount of use per month, but since you'll only need it to log on to nba.com, it'll last forever. By using the VPN, you’ll be able to use an IP located somewhere else in the world. In this case, you'll need to connect to India.
Buy League Pass using the VPN Using the VPN, connect to India. Then, go to the League Pass website and purchase the season pass. It will be 999 rupees or around 15 USD. This way you'll save a ton of money not having to pay the full $200, and you'll be able to bypass locally and nationally televised blackouts.
Log on to LP using the VPN Once you're logged in with the VPN, you can disconnect. VPNs slow your connection down so if you have a decent connection at home streaming should be clean.
Now that r/nbastreams is gone, I'm extra grateful for LP. You can pause, rewind and fast forward the game while you're watching live. When I missed games I was able to log on and watch without commercials.
