Amsterdam has canal coffee shops. Copenhagen has Christiania. Denver seems to have small businesses scattered around, though I I haven't been recently. What can we do here in Detroit and where should we do it? Can we create our own weed-friendly district? Locations that come to mind are the riverfront around Chene Park, Eastern Market, New Center, unused parts of Palmer Park, unused land around the Catholic seminary, one of the many areas of old abandoned factories. I'm no developer or city planner, but I did just smoke a cannabis. Thoughts?
