The state primaries are on Tuesday and I have no clue who any of these people are.

The Michigan State primaries are on Tuesday. I’m new to Michigan. I don’t know who any of these people are or what their platforms are. I know I’m in the 5th state district and the 12th congressional district. I often don’t like what I see outside my door and I want to use my vote to improve my community. How can I find more information on each candidate, what they (are supposed to) do, and how that affects my daily life?
