Conquerer Guilding: Most difficult season

I just sealed and gilded conquerer for the first time this season. There were some difficult aspects (ahem... Lightblade), but was overall not too bad. I've read that season 15 was tough as well.
For those that played and gilded both seasons, what one did you fund most difficult? Any other season top these two?
I guess I'm just trying to guage whether or not I've really gone through the worst of it and will expect any other content thrown at me to be a breeze.
