So its revealed that Savathun turned on the Witness/the Darkness during the Collapse because the Witness targeted the Traveler. This implies that Savathun either had some sort of loyalty to the traveler before that or discovered something about the Traveler during the Collapse that led her to protect it and become immensely loyal to it to the point that she wanted to seal it in her throne world so the Witness couldn't reach it.
Regardless of which situation is true theres questions that I need an answers to: what inspired Savathun to have such strong protective desires and loyalty towards the Traveler? Was the memory her worm familiar showed us of the Witnesses lie what made her save the Traveler during the collapse? Or was us showing her that memory at the end of the campaign the first she had ever even heard of the lie? Did she know the truth before becoming a guardian? Or only after we revealed it to her? If she knew the truth before becoming a guardian and losing her memories, then how did she discover the truth? I dont believe her worm would have told her. Its not loyal to anything but its hunger.
Anyways, let me know youre thoughts.
