Decrypting the Darkness Quest Bug (PS5)

I know this seems to have been bugged since February but I’m still having problems. I’ve decrypted numerous umbral engrams and it won’t progress the quest. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Or do we have any idea when Bungie will fix it?
EDIT: Adding this in case anyone comes across this problem in the future. Managed to get around it by completing the first few missions for Season of the Splicer
