Wrathborn Hunts are really good and exactly the type of concept we need for the seasonal loot.
Post Body

One look through my profile and you'll see that i've been extremely critical of bungie this expansion and well, other concerns, but i think we should absolutely also praise something that bungie's done right. Or at the very least is heading in the right direction

Wrathborn Hunts are kinda exactly what i've been asking for. A way to farm for loot, in the game, without just having a giant stack of umbrals to take back to the tower. Or boring kill bounties for the umpteenth time. I think the system absolutely needs it's kinks hammered out, but this is absolutely the direction seasonal loot should be headed in.

I get that a lot of people really liked the umbral system, but it really really devalued loot imo. It, in my mind, really made it feel like it didn't matter what i did at all, because it really didn't.

Again, it's got a lot of kinks that feel way to rough/grindy, especially given other concerns. Particurally concerns that the hunt blatantly clashes with. Overall tho, it's a really fun system.

All the problems with this season/expansion still very much exist and absolutely need to be dealt with immediately, but damn i'm really liking this set up going into the future.

Keep going in this direction bungie. Just also fix the loot situation too.
