I have an idea for a new Quickplay game mode which I think could be fun. It takes elements from Rift (D1), Blind Well/The Corrupted strike and also Gambit.
- Both teams have a purple orb spawn point in their base spawn location (the same purple orb from The Corrupted strike, and Blind Well T4). They have to pick up the orb, carry it to the opponent base spawn point and throw it at a shielded boss to lower its shield.
- The orb damage is increased by throwing around teammates en route to the boss.
- If the orb carrier is killed by an opposing team player it respawns back at the base spawn point. (possibly with a delay).
- Once the shielded bosses shield is removed you then have to kill it. First team to kill the opposing boss wins!
EDIT: Just for clarity this would be occurring while the regular PvP killing is happening.
