One thing I really hope D2 brings to the table is more variety to the Armor sets we have currently. D1 had a lot of great variety in it's armor selection bringing about some crazy combinations that really made your Guardian stand out and not feel too much like a copy cat of someone elses Guardian or just a reskin with a different shader.

I'm just gonna do Hunter Armor since that's my main class and I find a lot of the D2 Hunter Armor...lackluster in all honesty especially in comparison to some of the nice armors Titan and Warlocks have in D2

So here are some Destiny 1 Hunter equipment I'd like to see make a comeback in D2

The Dream-Eater Vest or Long Tommorrow 9G Chest Armor's

I loved these chest armor's because they had this cool sleeveless jacket your Hunter would wear giving them a look befitting the subclass GUNSLINGER. Out of all the Chest Armor's for Hunter's I want this one to make a big comeback especially when you can combine it with a combination of the Lucky Pants and hopefully Cayde's Cloak which would be the Hunter Fashion Dream Come True.

The Flayer Mantle Cloaks, The Ghost Angel Cloak, and The Tracker's Wrap

These Three different cloaks were all my favorites within D1 outside of obvious limited time armors like Iron Banner or Osiris.

The Psion Flayer Mantle's were some of the most unique Cloaks in the game being these Tron like hologram cloaks that were colored accordingly to the subclass element they were attuned too.

The Ghost Angel Cloak

Something about it's asymmetrical appearance and tattered design really gives a battle work look worthy of Hunters who've been through countless battles

Finally The Tracker's Wrap

The Tracker's Wrap is unique in that it's not a full on Cloak it's just a basic scarf tied around the neck and one of the only Armor's that doesn't have the Hunter Cloak Hood therefore showcasing the entirety of a Hunter's chosen Helmet
