Season 1 weapon perks?

On stream and on all the hype advertising, they mentioned that season 1 gear would be returning but with different perks for season 2, and that the season 1 gear you have already collected would be sort of like a "Legacy" item in the sense that you wouldn't be able to get those rolls anymore....
But all the weapons i've gotten since yday have the same rolls? Am i just not observant enough or is this coming out next week? Or was that all just a lie....
