How alive is the PS3 community?

Enjoyed Destiny a lot when I had it on Xbox One. (Sadly had to get rid of the Xbox one) But now I am a happy owner of a PS3. I really liked Destiny. PVP was probably one of the best ones I've played because even though I was garbage I felt like I was doing something.
So now I want to buy the Take King bundle thing for ps3. But I don't want to buy it and be disappointed when my PVP queue times are disgustingly long.
How alive is Destiny on ps3?
