To those patient raid groups who can tolerate a player like me, I salute you.

Post Body

Being in a country with really bad internet, it's hard to find a raid group. There are those who instantly boot me after seeing that I'm lagging or reconnecting, and then there are those that try their best to carry me through even if I'm on a black screen. Mostly the first type of group is what I encounter, but nothing compared to a group I played with last week.

Here I was, looking for a group on lfg to raid with, someone was looking for 1 more on KF fresh normal. I joined in, they seemed like a nice group and 4 minutes in, I start reconnecting on the jump puzzle. They wait for me, but they didn't say anything. I get back, finish the jumps, and breeze through the totems. On Warpriest they started to indirectly insult me by saying "Tim (Not his real name) you're practically soloing your plate" (I was with Tim). This next one, I have the Aura and they tell me to kill myself so it won't cause problems for the team. I started getting pissed.

We kill Warpriest, get to Golgoroth, and the last cycle of the fight someone says "Do it." next thing I know, I'm back in orbit because I got kicked from the team. Before kicking me out of the party, the last thing I heard was the whole team laughing their asses off.

I was really angry at this point but I looked for another instantly. This other team started fresh again, but I didn't mind. We get through everything with a few reconnects and all they say after each one of them is "It's cool, man. We all have those days." I was so confident with this group, they were really nice. We get through daughters, all happy with our loot but couldn't find enough time to finish Oryx. We couldn't finish it, but at least they took me through. After 2 of the members left the fireteam, the other 3 offered to help me with Hard Daughters and they'd carry me through. I said no thanks, and that they were really nice to do that for someone, then I said my byes and thanks to the group and left. Ever since, I was worried I'd never find a group like that again. This whole story is really just to say THANK YOU to that team that spared me a load of patience and....time. Moral is, don't have crappy wifi or else you don't get loot. :P Thanks for taking your time to read!

TL;DR: I raided with a group that kicked me for reconnecting a few times and found another one that took me through the raid patiently.
