Question about deleting a character and using a Spark of Light....

If I delete my Titan, my least played character, and make a new Titan, complete the HoW questline, and do PoE with a treasure key, am I still guaranteed an exotic, even though I already got one on my first Titan? Does it matter that I have already done it on three characters?
