I beleive its currently bugged and for those getting to big crota himself are missing out on a RNG roll. All the streams ive watched and completing it myself leads to confusion and alot of time spent standing around scratching your head.
after about 5 mins the adds despawned and we got a mission complete, we were all spread out around searching at the time. Was a bit disheartening realizing that the checkpoint before crota doesnt result in any loot as I was comparing it to VOGs gatekeeper section.
If this is intended 3 loot drops is a bit of a bummer.
I'm just assuming because the Desthsinger is a boss you need to kill, where as the confluxes were just waves of trash to warm up imo to weed out those fit to raid and those not

yeah good call, ill be doing this come next tuesday for the crota save and then just join my group for a fresh run to her.
