I have figured out the best way to play Destiny my favorite way to play Destiny. Just logging on and playing. Not focusing on engrams or grinding out experience, just joining random fireteams, help kill some stuff and leave. Rinse and repeat. I have yet to try and grind out any sort of gear or guns. What I do is try and help other people obtain their goals. Sure it's not as awesome as seeing a purple pop of a Dregg's spine, but it is rewarding in its own right. I helped a child beat the sword mission and his yell of joy was pretty cool when he finally beat it. His mom was wondering why a stranger was playing with him, but thats another topic. Just kill things, try to carry someone through an area by not murdering things but by actually informing them on strategy. Maybe call out a good sniper location or teach people about line of sight or choke points. I know it's a game and it feels awesome to win and get loot, but helping is also fun. EDIT: Don't force a playstyle onto a person, if they ask for a pointer or help, teach them some stuff. If they use it then cool, if they don't then thats cool to. I don't expect a titan with two perfectly good fists to sit back and snipe from a vantage point. I can only hope that he positions himself in a choke point so they walk at him in a single file line so he can punch them efficently.

Also, their kills register your RNG for loot drops. So it doesn't matter who is killing, as long as we are killing together.

Don't be afraid to unequip gear too. Sick of the lack of content, make your own. Get shit gear, jump into the tiger strikes as level 23 or even 22. If you are truly as good as you think, and that amazeballs gun you have is truly amazing, then you won't get carried. If you consistantly fight on a lower level it will better your play. Just try it. If you can't carry your own in this then don't expect others to carry you. When I do this I can usually get top kills or second kills and tons of assists. The goal isnt to nerf yourself and get carried, its to challenge yourself.

This is getting traction so I thought I would add my pizza roll challenge. You my friend need a new and refreshing challenge. I present you the tostitos pizza roll challenge.

Step 1. Cook pizza rolls.

Step 2. Position character in location with lots of sightlines and minimal cover.

Step 3. Eat pizza rolls with left hand while using right hand for aim, shoot, melee.

Step 4. Scream "I dare you to defy me!" while wrecking some serious headshot percentages with a revolver.

EDIT:Alright, I messed up. The design of this post was to genereate some ideas on how to create content for yourself if you find a lack of content in the game or just want a change of pace. I am by no means telling someone how to play the game or what they are doing is stupid. My quick typing and lack of care for wording has created a mixed pool of comments and that was not the goal. I am sorry if I ensued any rage or any other than creative thought.
