[Meta] Mods, can we get some better policing of /new?

I know how tough it is to keep up with the /new posts all day, but this sub could be in a much better place if more mods - or at least some, if few/none are - would keep an eye on /new to clean out the constant reposts.

A couple specific requests and suggestions:

  1. Police reposts and remove them as you see them. If you have the moderator toolbox extension for your browser, you can even set up cookie-cutter responses for removal reasons (we do that in r/baseball).
  2. Set up automod to smite common complaints, especially ones that are fairly simple like titles with "PSA" and "LFG".
  3. If you don't have mods that can keep up the policing of reposts during certain hour blocks (like 3 AM to 7 AM Eastern Time), consider bringing on a new mod to police those hours.

Just doing these will allow people browsing /new to see actual meaningful posts and conversations more quickly, instead of having to wade through the constant "Guys this crazy thing happened when I was farming Skywatch!" and "PSA: Some information 20 other people have already posted". Setting up removal reasons with the mod toolbox for fireteam requests, reposts, low effort posts, and "enemies are moving against each other" would help streamline it a ton, too.

I know you guys are dealing with hundreds of posts an hour during the heaviest traffic times, but there are currently 32 posts about the gunsmith selling blue fusion rifles as of right now (and all in the last hour), which is pretty much unacceptable.
