So, I finished Act 1 yesterday in about an hour and 20 minutes. And personally I really enjoyed it. I thought that this episode started off way stronger with just the first mission compared to Echoes, and as the act progressed it also felt like we were moving along faster, like if these was the weekly format, we would have already confronted Fikrul in week 3. Compared to Maya who we didn't confront until the end of Act 2.

And being able to play the full thing allowed them not put the unnecessary fluff in between each act so it flowed much better into the next one. Some people say it was short, and while they may be true, I think this is overall a better format. The weekly format for most weeks felt like you literally did nothing and then boom final week something crazy happens. With this, you get that boom something crazy happened immediately.

Act 2 is most likely gonna have a longer runtime, and act 3 might as well but if it's just do the exotic mission again thats gonna be a little disappointing.

But yeah, I don't understand why so many people are hating on it, because already just from Act 1 Revenant has a much better story and vibe to it than echoes.
