Question about boosting another character to obtain prismatic without completing the campaign.

Once I completed the campaign on a single character and got the three hidden prismatic abilities, If I boost another character to get the prismatic super without having to play the campaign, will it give you the three hidden chests or will you be required to go back and get them? Does anyone know thanks in advance.
