Was reading a bit of lore last night, and to put it simply the Fundament shell states in as clear terms as lore gets that she guided a man and his family to follow the Traveller in the night sky to what would be the site of the Last City, specifically saying this was to indebt his line in exchange for surviving the collapse.

While that surely has some narrative implications in the future, especially with this season wrapping, I was wondering if anyone could fill in the gaps on the how of it all with any lore bits I missed? We know humanity survived because Sav somehow convinced the Witness to fuck off before the job was done, and that her whole plan worked because of guidance/light from the Traveller, so is it sale to assume it somehow clued her in on the timeline of the collapse? Can we by extension infer that the Traveller not only knew of but allowed the eventual collapse?

Edit: OK, I remembered her death scene wrong for sure, but that just begs the question how did she know of the Last City? Predictive 4D chess shit as is her usual?
