A Raid Boss idea i have.

So the boss is a Hive Wizard that has 6 tentacles on her back. This wizard is being taken slowly.

The Arena has 6 rooms to the sides of the boss platform, during the ad clear the boss will attack with two of it's tentacles, these tentacles will then get stuck in the ground and have to be shot by players, once enough damage is done the tentacles will drop taken essence.

The players must then pick up the essence and bring it to the room that matches the tentacle that dropped it.

So Like Top= Back, Middle is middle bottom is Front. And then you have left or right obviously.

When you bank the taken essence into the matching room the boss in the middle will split into two Taken Versions of herself and will be in both rooms,

Then while in the rooms you have to defend the essence from 3 waves of ads and avoid the smaller bosses attacks during the fight, these smaller bosses also have tentacles but only 3 each. it is then up to the two teams to figure out the two tentacles that match, and which one is different.

So one Team would have L1 R2 R1

While team two has L3 R2 R1

One the waves are held off the boss will go back into the middle platform and begin conjuring a spell with her tentacles, you then have to shoot the tentacles that matched the two teams to stop the wipe.

You then repeat the same steps as last 2 more times until all 6 rooms have taken essence in them, this completely removes all taken energy from the boss,

Once done the taken energy will combine into the middle of the room creating a giant taken blight that then explodes and stuns the boss for a brief moment breaking her shield.

It is then damage phase where during the damage phase players have to move around because the boss begins to walk around Doc Ock style and towards players to then swing attacks towards them with her tentacles.

Then near the end of the damage phase one player will be selected with a debuff, this player either needs to hide or rely on their teammates to help.

Because these debuff guarantees that the boss grabs you with her tentacles and will then begin stabbing the gaurdian repeatedly with her other ones, in that case the other gaurdians must shoot the tentacles holding the targeted gaurdian to cause the boss to drop them.

Failure to do so will result in the gaurdian dying and the boss stealing the life-force from that gaurdian and healing Slightly.

Once the boss is damaged enough the final stand will begin, the wizard will rise into the air and will slam down all of her tentacles rapidly in an attempt to kill the gaurdians, but each one will leave taken essence behind again, so 6 taken essences so all 6 players must grab one and run to the room to bank them, this will cause the blight to come back and the detonation of the blight will be what kills the boss.
