Title, probably one of the game's worst kept secrets but this weapon type has been struggling. Compared to autos and scouts, you're better off just going to one end of the scale, and hand cannons/SMGs at least have their niches and can hold their own in the proper hands. But I've been playing D2 again since splicer, and the gridskipper I picked up in my first week is literally the only pulse I've used more than a couple times (great synergy on Voidwalker and has always been viable with barrier pulse in the artifact), and at this point with how granular the changes they try to make stat wise can be, I almost wonder if each weapon family should just an intrinsic perk or buff to help them stand out even when the meta is weird towards certain primaries? Or maybe they could admit they overturned the LF difficulty and give a 5-10% damage buff and call it a day? Idk, just sucks because I love burst fire rifles in fps games but they always seem to struggle to find their midpoint between autos and semis.
