I'm a returning player and google has been exceedingly difficult to use RE: mods and where to get them.

I've seen a couple of sites saying vanguard engrams/it unlocks automatically when you masterwork your ghost but I've had no luck there. I've also seen you can buy previous season items from Ada but she doesn't have any.

It also seems like I can't fight unstoppable enemies without the current seasons artifact and it's unlockable mods and I don't have money for the season pass/new campaign currently.

Any direction would be lovely as I'm currently trying to masterwork my armor and start optimizing my build. I'll probably grab the dlc in the next week or so when I get paid.
