Caiatl Leaves After Two Bells

Just wondering if someone can explain why this is happening. Been farming Master over the past day and this has probably happened I'll say 5-10 times - after using Bells 1 and 2 for damage phases Caiatl books it for mid/back as if we had just completed a damage phase on Bell 3 and ends the DPS sequence.
