I posted my thoughts on a different thread but just curious what others opinions are.

So with the upcoming system the weekly Adept will still drop when running GMs along with the new currency Nightfall Ciphers - taken right from the Bungie release:

Platinum = 2 Gold = 1 Silver = 0

To focus a single Adept weapon will cost 10 Ciphers - IMO that's a bit steep for a single roll. Let's just say that Lake of Shadows is in the rotation in Season 20 and that you have it down to 10 minutes for Platinum farms, and lets say there's 2 minutes of downtime between loading, orbit, etc. between runs...that means on a Lake of Shadows week it would be 60 minutes to have a single Adept focused at Zavala. Once again you still have Adepts and the other rewards dropping on competition so I'm guessing this is why Bungie set the cost where it is. I personally think its a bit much but I'm curious to see what others think. We'll also have to see what Strikes return to the rotation next season.
