Another day another scouting mission completed within the EDZ for Viper-7 and Aria.

Landing in the hangar. The two are greeted by Saint-14.

As Viper slowly walks off his Jumpship he waves to the legendary Titan, "Hey Saint. How've ya been?"

His arms open ready to hug his fellow Exo, "Comrade Viper it's always good to see you. What exciting adventures do you have to tell?"

The Hunter chuckles. Sometimes he feels like Saint is a bit of a kid but he appreciates that. Too many people are serious these days and he's honestly one of the few that still brings a smile to the Hunter's mechanical face.

"Haha. Nothing exciting today really. Hunted a few Red Legion stranglers and did a couple supply runs for Devrim and Amanda. Found a few goodies for myself though."

The Titan laughs in excitement, "Show me comrade. You're eyes are all lit up like a Dawning Festival Crystal." Viper retorts with some playful sass, "My eyes are always lit up thank you. But yeah I'm excited to show this stuff off. Get Amanda while Aria transmats it all."

Saint went off while Viper watched Aria transmat several boxes worth of supplies he had recovered. Most of it was spare parts that could be used to repair or build new Sparrows and Jumpships. The Crew within the hangar took all the supplies save for one box that Viper had told them specifically to leave alone.

Amanda approached with Saint in tow wiping the oil and grease off her fingers "Alright V. Whatcha got? I see the haul my crew took but what's in here?"

Viper smiles and reaches into the box, "Well after blasting a few Space Rhinos on my patrol. Aria and I found this pretty intact store nearby and decided to scrounge it clean. We found quite the hull. Nothing useful in the ongoing fights. But something that might help take the edge off ya know?"

Saint looks over Viper's shoulder, "So what did you find comrade?" Viper pulled out one case and opened it in front of Saint and Holliday, "Instruments." Inside the case was a perfectly pristine Trumpet, "Well would you lookie there. I haven't seen one of those in a while." Amanda looked impressed which put a smile on both Aria and Viper's faces, "We thought you might like that. Which is why we found this one for ya Amanda." Viper reaches into his back pocket and pulls out another instrument to give her personally.

Amanda looks stunned and awestruck, "Oh my cotton socks. Is that what I think it is?" Viper chuckles while Saint looks inquisitively, "I do not understand. I have not seen one of these before." Aria answers for Saint, "It's a Harmonica Saint. It's a musical instrument you blow into to make sound." Saint looks excited, "Such a tiny object can make music?"

Amanda still looks stunned while Viper holds it out for her, "Go on. Take it." Amanda takes it hesistantly but you could easily see she was grinning from ear to ear at the sight of it, "Thanks V. Now how did you know a girl like me used to play Harmonica?"

Viper glances knowingly over to his ghost and says slyly, "Aria might've heard through the Ghost grapevine that they overheard you used to be able to play." Amanda smiles, "Sneaky little buggers ain'tcha Aria?" Aria bounces happily and winks, "Your welcome Amanda."

Amanda looks at the Harmonica, "I used to have one of these when I was little as a present from my ma and pa. Ma found it while we patrolling on our journey to the City and Pa would spend every free moment he had to teach me how to play it." She looked a little somber reminiscing about her parents but V and Saint each put a hand on her shoulder, "Ms. Holliday you still have all of us." Viper seconded that statement with a nod.

Aria jumped in front of Amanda curious, "So, you still know how to play it? Cause I think you and Viper should play a song together." Amanda looks up at Aria with an eybrow raised, "You kidding me. You don't easily forget things like that. I might be rusty but I'll knock that shell of yours off with my skills."

Saint looked at Viper, "You play music comrade?" Viper nods, "Heh. Yeah...Aria taught me. Girl knows her music." Viper makes his way back into his jumpship to grab his instrument. Aria bouces around excitedly, "Ohhhhhh! I can't wait to hear this. Amanda and Viper playing music together. OH! I know the perfect one I had V write down." She transmats some sheet music for Amanda, "Please Please Please play this song with Viper Amanda. I know it would make him real happy." Amanda quickly reads through the sheet music and chuckles, "V wrote this? Heh. Well I certainly can't refuse a request from you. Give me 2 minutes. I'll have these notes memorized lickity-split."

Viper slowly walks out with an accoustic guitar in his hand and walks back up to Aria, "Where's Amanda?" Aria chirps happily, "Reading. Gave her the sheet music to the song I really want to hear you two play." Viper shakes his head, "Of course. Which one did you give her? The newest one?" Aria nods. Viper chuckles, "I thought so. Well better find somewhere to sit as I play."

Saint interjects, "Comrade. You and Ms. Holliday should play while sitting on top of my ship. It'll be like a stage." Viper liked the sounds of that.

Amanda and Viper sat together both ready to play while Viper chuckled, "Gotta admit. I'm kinda nervous. First time I played for anyone other than Aria and first time playing with someone else." Amanda jabs Viper's shoulder playfully, "Now don't you be getting cold feet on me V. You'll be fine. Just have fun with it will ya?" Viper nods and looks at the guitar as he begins to play...

Viper's hands began strumming a nice little melody as Holliday got herself ready and quickly followed through with the Harmonica accompying Viper's rhythm.

The song was simple but there was something captivating about it. The sound had a warm and welcoming feeling and Saint started clapping in rhythm to the beat. The two were clearly having fun and the music was carrying through the whole hangar that some folks would stop what they were doing to come and watch the two play. They had an audience now so they couldn't afford to disappoint everyone who came to watch. Amanda looked like she was having the time of her life being able to play that Harmonica. She was leading the song with such a beautiful sound that Aria was just so happy to see someone else besides herself or V to play some music.

Viper smiled gently as he began to play his solo. As he plucked each string he couldn't help but think of when Aria first found him and revived him. He was so scared and confused and the very Guitar he played with was his sole possession from his previous life. Aria kept the guitar safe and would take the time to teach V how to both repair it back into working order and even play it given her extensive love and knowledge of all things music. Anytime he held the guitar and strummed the strings he felt like he could remember faint pieces of his previous self. A smile would form every time with every song he played. It was calming for him to just sit back and play the guitar but now he was sharing that experience with others for the first time.

As the two continued their duet they could see a Dead Orbit jumpship was getting ready to leave immediately and slowed down their pace while temporarily stopping as it flew off with a loud roar of its engines. Amanda continued the song at a slower pace with Viper occassionally adding a few strums to her sound to accent the music she played. They could see everyone who was listening were really enjoying themselves and even Saint was keeping quiet and listening intently. They picked the pace back up one more time to bring it on home. Everyone was clapping along and a couple of ghosts including Aria looked like they were dancing to the rhythm. The two closed the song off with one final note.

As they finished they looked down to see everyone clapping and cheering at the performance. Some were even calling for an encore. Viper chuckled as he looked to Holliday with a smile, "Wanna go again?" Holliday smiled brightly, "Music to my ears V." The two got into position and got ready once more to wow the crowd with their sound.
