Viper-7 was making a break for it. What started as a simple exploration mission on Io over the area outside The Cradle quickly turned into a battle for his life within the Ascendent Planes of The Hive. The Hive of Savathûn's Court were relentless turning the Hunter into the Hunted. Screams followed him as a wave of Thrall chased him down.

"Up ahead V!" Aria's support was on point. He saw a formation of Hive corruption that he could slide under to both escape and use as parital cover, "Got it!" He sprinted full and pulled out a Tripewire Grenade. Just before he slid under the corruption he threw his grenade at the cover. The thrall weren't going to stop chasing him and he was counting on that as his Tripwire's laser registered the Thrall triggering the proximity mechanism and causing the grenade to explode. The corruption the grenade had stuck to still stood and V quickly drew his Hand Cannon. He could hear a few stragglers that had survived the blast. He stepped out and fanned the hammer of his gun as he fired each shot with rapid precision. BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! Four booming headshots as the four remaining thrall's body dissolved in the hive soulfire that their bodies contained. One worm wriggled helplessly on the ground before Viper stomped on it under the heel of his boots.

"Ugh. Gross V." Aria chirped as V wiped his foot against the ground, "Eh. I've stepped in worse." Aria looked like she was huffing in frustrastion, "That's not the point." Viper couldn't help but chuckle before whistling at the site, "So this is HER court huh?" Aria began scanning, "Looks like it." Viper reloaded his Hand Cannon and kept a grip on it with one finger on the trigger ready at a moments notice, "Not really into the whole drab longstretches of black and hive rune green chic but hey who am I to judge a girl's preferences?" Aria continues scanning, "It's a part of her court. True to her nature it's hard to get a clear reading of where we are within it and where to go. My scans feel like their giving me to much useless information." Viper looked around, "We might have to do this the old fashioned way partner." Aria finished her scan and made her way back to Viper before transmatting back into her safe spot, "V I don't like this place. It honestly feels like-" He finished her sentence for her, "Like we're being watched? Yeah I feel it too."

Viper starts slowly moving forward. He wasn't sure where he was going but he no matter which way he moved he knew someone or something was watching his every move, "Aria..." She chimes in once her name is called, "Yeah V?" Viper chuckled, "I think we're gonna be stuck here a while. Might as well make the most of it eh? How about a little ditty?" Aria appears by her Guardian's side and bounces happily, "You got it! Oh what to sing?" Viper hums to himself as he thinks on his ghost's question, "Whatever comes to mind Aria. You know I always enjoy your singing" Aria bounces around, "In that case..."

As she sings Viper can't help but hum to the tune as well. Even though he's trapped in this realm at least he's not alone. All the Hunter can do is keep moving forward.
